Identity Assurance in today’s corporate world is of paramount importance in providing secure access for employees, customers and partners to sensitive data and information. Organisations must have confidence that their data and information is being accessed by only those that are authorized to use it.
While there are enormous productivity benefits available from increased access, security risks have also largely increased by using traditional access methods of authentication through static user IDs and passwords, which are inadequate for today’s secure access requirements. Most have come to realize the need for strong authentication, as static passwords carry all of the risks inherent with weak authentication, leaving the organizations IP unsecured and exposed to theft and damage.
The ePassOTP (One Time Password) Authentication System requires users to identify themselves using two unique factors – something they know (user name / fixed password) and something they have (OTP) – before they are allowed access. ePassOTP is used to securely access VPNs, wireless access points, web applications, Domain Logins and network operating systems. Specifically designed to incorporate seamlessly into your organization’s existing network infrastructure, the ePass OTP Authentication System allows you to create strong event-based two factor authentication security by using a dynamically generated one-time-password, also allowing you to combine this with your existing static password seamlessly.
The ePassOTP Authentication System is attractively priced to be integrated from SME to Large Scale Enterprise deployment alike. Offering strong network security, reliable authentication and convenience for End-users, the ePassOTP Authentication System comes complete with our easy to implement server software – obtain your free evaluation kit – fully complete with free server software and two ePassOTP tokens – everything you need to get up-and-running immediately!

Feitian OTP tokens cover full-range types of One-Time Password method, event-synchronous, time-synchronous, and challenge-response, also the EMV CAP-based reader featuring One-Time-Password authentication for user and online transaction.
- Event-Based: uses a mathematical algorithm to generate a new password based on the previous.
- Time-Based: based on time-synchronization between the authentication server and the client providing the password.
- Challenge-Response: the new password is based on a challenge (e.g. a random number chosen by the authentication server or transaction details) and a counter instead of being based on the previous password.
Being an contributing member of OATH, Feitian OTP tokens are all OATH compliant.
