CodeMeter FSB/User Sticks (no memory,1G &2G)



CodeMeter developed by WIBU-SYSTEMS offers providers of software and digital content who want to use the Internet for distribution a Digital Rights Management (DRM) solution with a lot of advantages: secure protection, precise measurement of use, accounting and a completely automatic sales outlet.

The core of CodeMeter is the CodeMeter-Stick (also called CM-Stick), which is similar to a USB Memory Stick. The user purchases the CM-Stick. In contrast to dongles, the user can purchase up to 1000 licenses of different products from different vendors and store all 1000 licenses in the CM-Stick. But there are more additional benefits: He can use the CM-Stick as a Flash Disk (128 MB or more) or as a password manager administering PINs and TANs or use the security functions such as SecuriKey Lite and Steganos Safe Lite 6. The licenses are transferred into the CM-Stick by using CM-Talk (a SOAP based communication protocol).

Features:
Simple online distribution of digital content and software in a secure way: the user owns mobile licenses and can use them with any PC where the CM-Stick with the appropriate licenses is connected to.
The user does a one-time purchase of the CM-Stick and needs only one stick for many products.
Therefore, CodeMeter is suitable for products of all price ranges: for low-cost products for 5 € as well as for expensive high-end business applications like CAD for 100.000 €.
New license models such as Pay-Per-Use and risk-free software leasing or option to return digital products are possible.
Avoids disadvantages of software activation such as support intensity and the licenses are not bound to a specific PC.
Avoids disadvantages of dongles: they fit only for high-cost products and the user needs for each product another dongle.
